Laurus championed a Shout Factory designed website for Emmanuel Day Care Centre, a non-profit organisation opened by an ex-nurse and community worker Marie Petersen. There are currently 40 registered children from the poor dormitory town of Atlantis, of which at least 10 children is suffering from severe cerebral palsy.
